My name is Devin, I am photographer and visual storyteller currently residing in Lake City, Colorado. Growing up in the high desert near Albuquerque, NM I found a strong calling to the open air, quiet moments and intimate details that have kept me grounded in this fast paced, ever changing landscape. I first picked up a camera over 10 years ago to slow down and continue to practice and learn this tool almost daily to document and experiment.

Now, living in the most remote county in the lower 48, I’ve developed an even deeper appreciation for the beauty of life and nature and the relationship we all have with our world, and the people and places within it. These relationships are an emphasis and common thread throughout my images.

When I am not photographing, you can likely find me running, hiking and exploring the backcountry and trails nearby with family and friends. Or, when I’m not out and about, you’ll see me engaging with my community; teaching at the local daycare, eating and drinking at some of Lake City’s fantastic businesses (Mountain Outpost for Breakfast, Cafe 98 for coffee and lunch, The Soda Fountain for treats, and CLIMB for dinner are my personal favorites) or just staying cozy by the fire with my two cats.
